Christmas in a marshmallow world

For starters, I give you... a marshmallow world.

I know... ridiculous amounts of snow. Well for Christmas eve we went to Josh's brother, Adam's house. We had a talents show in which Josh juggled and I clogged. We exchanged secret santa gifts, leg wrestled, and played games.

Kaitee was hard, she's so flexible she just kept bending.

For the little girls we gave them all parasols, I think they were pretty excited about that.Here is the before

Day after Christmas... sledding. Usually I am not a fan, but I went for it and it was pretty good.

our snowy little cottage

So this is where we live, the little house next to Maverick in Ririe, Idaho, a little town east of Rigby, Idaho. I've heard it called the Honeymoon cottage because when Josh's brothers first got married they lived here too. As you can see, we have tons of snow. I don't particularly like the snow but it is pretty and I like our little town and our little house. It's great for us.















Um... this is our car in front of the shop. I added it because it has been in front of the shop a lot. We have only had it about 4 and 1/2 months and already we have had three flat tires, a crack in the radiator, our alternator died, and we slid off the road once. We are not car people, I will tell you that now. We are lucky that his dad works at an auto parts store and knows how to fix most every problem we come across.

Here we go

I haven't started a blog yet because I don't think too much happens to us... we just do school and work and that's it. But I was convinced with the idea that because Josh and I don't journal we will want some kind of record of our lives. So I guess I will give a little history. Josh and I got married in August. (8-8-08) to be exact in Idaho Falls, Idaho. We go to school at BYU-Idaho, Josh is majoring in Computer Information Technology and I am majoring in Sociology. He currently works for his brother designing web sites and I am a secretary and the school's music department. That's basically us.
