All the fun stuff

Grandma faraway came last week. She kind of surprised us (told us the day before) and Sophie was thrilled, beyond thrilled. She loves having people around to play with and include her. We stayed insanely busy during the week.

Last week Josh and I heard on the radio that Goo Goo Dolls was coming to Salt Lake. We wanted to see them last year when they toured with Matchbox 20 (which would have been two of our favorite bands) but they closest they were coming was Las Vegas. Anyway, the Goo Goo Dolls were coming to Salt Lake with Daughtry and the Plain White Ts. Tickets were $20. Look how amazing our 20 buck seats were.

Anyway, we didn't know if we would be able to work out going but everything fell into place, my mom was here to watch Sophie and Josh had a few vacation hours from work he needed to use. So Wednesday afternoon we headed down, had dinner, watched the show, and came home. We made it home about 2:45am.

The concert was great! Plain White Ts were fun and Daughtry was good (he seems like an interesting guy), but Goo Goo Dolls were the best. They are awesome live. We had a great great time. We both loved this new song.

Saturday we took Sophie bowling and to play mini golf. She's been asking about golfing forever, but she didn't want us to go without dad. It was a fun afternoon.

Along with all the fun stuff, this week we also mudded and painted our bathroom, cleaned out the fridge, shampooed the carpets, bought a couch, and took Sophie to swimming lessons every day. By the end of the week we felt like this.

On top of all these exciting things a couple not so exciting things happened. Our dryer went out, so we have been hanging all our laundry and last night (my mom left in the morning) Josh and I found water in the basement. So we have some not so fun things to deal with now.
